LIVE from the Victory Bus Tour through Ohio!  I have just walked out from my second Victory Center stop in Southern Ohio and I must say our volunteers are doing an unbelievable job of making phone calls and knocking on doors.  They are making the personal contacts which will make the difference on Election Day.  In fact, the volunteers from this area of Ohio were the top performing region in the country last night.  That’s impressive because our volunteers made over 1 million voter contacts yesterday alone!  Being out on the road meeting individual volunteers is the most rewarding part of my job.  I like to say our organization and the efforts our volunteers are putting in each day is what will be the “October Surprise”.  It is with them that we can achieve victory! 

On the bus with me today is the RNC Co-Chairman and National Committee Woman from Ohio – Jo Ann Davidson, National Committeeman and State Chairman from Ohio – Bob Bennett, as well as Congresswoman Jean Schmidt.
